You will serve as a Deputy Intelligence Officer in the Tactical Training and Exercise Control Group (TTECG) of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.

Duties

You will serve as the Deputy Officer-in-Charge for the Intelligence section. You will supervise intelligence support to Integrated Training Exercises and Marine Air Ground Task Force Warfighting Exercises and develop and execute all aspects of the Adversary Force Exercises. You will standardize TTECG intelligence operations through the maintenance of foundational documents. You will serve as the direct supervisor for 4 subordinate positions, providing leadership and setting priorities to meet mission goals.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to have the ability to operate government non-tactical vehicles, including four wheel drive vehicles, on public roads and aboard military installations, including off-highway operation.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Providing subject matter expertise in Intelligence Operations by analyzing, synthesizing, and communicating the implications of existing and emergent concepts as they relate to training infantry units; 2) Coordinating military exercises utilizing practical knowledge of Combined Arms Exercises, training range execution and operations, and military training management; 3) Advising on operational impacts of existing and emerging concepts, innovation initiatives, and trends utilizing expert knowledge of military ground combat operations; 4) Communicating both verbally and in writing to synthesize large amounts of complex data into easily understood and actionable products for the development and execution of ground combat exercises; and 5) Leading a team by providing technical guidance, setting priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work to ensure efficient operations.
