You will serve as a TRAINING ADMINSTRATOR ASSISTANT in the Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Protection Office (108), of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will assist the Lead Training Administrator in the Occupational Safety Health and Environmental training programs to include research development, concurrence, approval of all training presentations, and delivery of all C108 presentations. You will assist in developing the Occupational Safety Health and Environmental training schedule and allocationof required facilities and equipment. You will utilize course evaluation findings to determine additional skills or training required to achieve optimum program objectives. You will ensure emergent training bulletins are administered and conducted to meet requirements of informing TRIREFFAC-KB personal of the latest changes, problem areas, improper work practices, regulatory changes and changes in local policies.

Requirements

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current IT-II level designation.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing all aspects of a formal school processes and operations, administrative policies and procedures, curricula, accreditation, and certification requirements. Experience communicating both orally and written in order to aid in computer literacy, team building, problem solving, and accountability. Experience incorporating latest developments and integrating subjects into instructions to maintain state of art training. Education

For GS-11: In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
