You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Naval Education Division (NED) which works in support of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASN (M&RA)).
Duties
You will research, assess, analyze, and evaluate varying aspects of the Naval Education Enterprise including policy, programs, requests for information, communications, and issues.
You will monitor changes in naval and military doctrine of US, allies, and competitors to recommend changes to the Department's approaches to learning and areas of focus.
You will lead or participate in strategic planning initiatives related to naval education topics and credentialing.
You will identify opportunities for elements of the naval education enterprise to work closely together, operate more effectively, and align to a common vision of naval education.
You will investigate and conduct independent research and analysis to provide informed recommendations to senior leadership on matters of particular sensitivity, high priority, or significance.

- This position requires the incumbent to maintain unescorted access to the Pentagon.
- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience providing research and analysis to assist in the overall process improvement of multiple aspects within a command (policy, programs, products, structures, etc.) and
Experience performing strategic analysis and planning to make recommendation to senior leaders.
