Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Performing a variety of complex analytical and evaluative work related to program operations, and organizational efficiency and productivity, as well as, advising management on the effectiveness, efficiency, and actions to be taken to accomplish work related to assigned programs and functions.
Developing plans for projects and initiatives as required in accomplishing/producing established goals and objectives to monitor administration of agency and office initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations, policy, program intent, and plan requirements.
Monitoring projects and developing detailed briefings, comprehensive reports, and recommendations to keep managers and executives apprised of progress and long-term needs.
Designing and conducting comprehensive management studies, analysis of issues, problems, and challenges and developing proposed courses of actions from review and implementation by project teams.
Providing high level of expertise and support to senior management on strategic initiatives.
Maintaining internal and external awareness and identifying trends with the potential to impact the organization's mission and services; developing recommendations for responding to challenges and changes; developing new insights into situations; questioning conventional approaches; encouraging new ideas and innovations; and overseeing the development, design, and implementation of new processes.
Identifying appropriate sources for gatherings and compiling data and information to be used in preparing and communicating complex administrative and management reports, documents, guidance, and procedures.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications:
You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing at least four (4) of the following:
1. Developing and/or managing assigned projects to meet established business requirements.
2. Liaising with contractors on deliverables to ensure they meet the needs of the project or initiative.
3. Delivering presentations and briefing to internal and/or external stakeholders on issues, data, and analysis.
4. Preparing reports, briefings, or detailed documents for senior level executives and varying stakeholders.
5. Utilizing financial, budget, acquisition and/or procurement management principles and techniques to conduct program cost analysis or financial analysis.
