You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES TRAINING DIVISION, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

You will implement changes that reflect new technologies into instruction to maintain uploaded curriculum for nuclear or radiation worker training. You will devise course objectives, instructional materials and techniques or training plans appropriate to nuclear, quality control cleanliness or radiation. You will prepare and conduct formal and informational training to include the principles, concepts, terminology, nuclear/non-nuclear engineering and radiological standards/procedures. You will research Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and local instructions to source appropriate work/training requirements. You will prepare and revise lesson plans, visual aids, and handouts to obtain necessary related materials to accomplish the objectives of the training plan.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing, evaluating and revising course materials to provide training to diversified trades or functional backgrounds for nuclear/non-nuclear or radiological training programs.
