The primary purpose of this position is LZR the Air Force Sustainment Center's supply chain process owner providing center level policy, procedures, guidance, and systems relating to requirements determination and execution, inventory tracking and reporting, asset cataloging, provisioning, stock control and distribution.

Duties

1. Performs technical and administrative lead duties on a regular or recurring basis for 25% of the time by identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and task amongst employees by skill level, proficiency and or occupational specialization, making adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment or work assignment. 2. Consistently exercise independent judgement in directing and assigning work amongst employees by using determinative factors such as team members expertise, experience, competence workload availability, work priorities and team member functional development. 3. Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. 4. Represent the organization with variety of installation and functional area organization.

Qualifications

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is described as: ability to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program; developing, or performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support the organizations mission. The work involves: (1) identifying the specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and (2) correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place.. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support. 2. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Ability to lead, motivate and guide the functions of the team. 4. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options. 5. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. 6. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
