Duties
You will serve as Technical Director for Overmatch (OM) and provide expert advisory and consultative support in future leaning activities to the Deputy Direct Reporting Program Manager (DRPM) and Major Program Manager (MPM).
You will control Overmatch program(s) and mission, and manage/direct the future technology plans for delivering the Naval Operational Architecture (NOA) for the fleet.
You will steer the future vision for the DRPM and affected program offices as well as Science and Technology partners and keep regular contact with senior officials across the command, as well as other SYSCOMS and Echelons.
You will understand the DoD/Naval Planning Guidance and leading all Programming (POM) activities and interact with the various
Ech I Programming activities and the associated resource sponsors and program offices.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Administrative and Management experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: establishing, documenting, or maintaining the strategic planning efforts in support of the Overmatch mission, vision, and goals; and tracking the execution of strategic planning efforts with a view towards focused implementation of all identified best practices.
