You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Physical Security Office, Command Security Division of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Duties
You will manage and administer the AT/FP ashore program for MSC worldwide personnel and facilities, in coordination with MSC Headquarters Security Manager, Force Protection Officer and Program Manager.
You will implement standards, policies, and procedures consistent with senior command policies and directives.
You will maintain a current Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) reference library containing publications, documents, instructions, messages, files etc. for use in managing and administering the AT/FP program.
You will research and identify new force protection training methods and equipment for the possible use ashore.
You will represent command during new construction meetings, planning, design and inspection phases.
You will represent command during Cyber Security Inspections in all Physical Security aspects.
You will provide administrative support to the Physical Security Officer and Security Director in matters of personnel administration, purchases, budget planning and executing, supplies ordering, tracking and inventory.
You will apply knowledge of physical security and information security to establish adequate controls and safeguards.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Developing Plans of Action and Milestones and manage physic security projects.
Writing messages, point papers, memorandums, naval letters and other correspondence intended for distribution internally and externally.
Planning and coordinate the work of subordinates, sitting contractors, and maintenance contractors.
Conducting verbal presentations ranging from informal local discussions to formal briefings.
Utilizing physical security programs, policies, requirements, and procedures.
