Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (SYANALYSIS/INFOSEC), you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Providing expert technical and policy advice and guidance to senior management officials in the appropriate application of technology to Department mission and programs including providing advice regarding IT issues and the impact of emerging issues on enterprise business requirements.
Achieving program cost, timely delivery of products and services, task order performance, reporting, and enterprise architecture requirements.
Providing overall direction and future vision on a wide-range of IT program and Departmental technical and administrative program management issues.
Exercising considerable judgement and ingenuity in advocating the benefits of implementing business-driven quality and process improvement.
Overseeing the migration of infrastructure databases and systems throughout the systems lifecycle.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications: Must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing at least three (3) of the following:
Utilizing a range of AI techniques and match techniques to problems.
Communicating results and presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
Deploying and implementing AI and/or Machine Learning (ML) techniques to real world challenges and data.
Navigating complex organizational dynamics, politically savvy and/or building relationships to achieve objectives in a politically sensitive environment.
Effectively manage, plan, organize, and/or execute projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
