You will serve as a SECRETARY in the Naval Oceanographic Office of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
Duties
You will serve as secretary in performing administrative and clerical duties and responsibilities.
You will solve problems associated with the administrative an clerical work of the office.
You will maintain logs and records on all correspondence and action items.
You will make travel arrangements, transportation and lodging reservations, arranging schedules of visits, notify organizations and officials to be visited, submit travel orders, vouchers and comp time request in accordance with travel regulations.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience performing routine administrative and clerical work.
Experience scheduling appointments and meetings and responding to routine and non-technical request.
Experience maintaining time and attendance records.
Experience operating automated travel system to make reservations and create travel authorizations and vouchers.
Experience in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and other office software.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-05: 4 years above high school
