You will serve as a Management & Program Analysis Officer of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will determine the appropriate policies, procedures, requirements, and resources needed for to effectively and securely share administrative and mission information with allies, partners and component commands in accordance with mandates issued.
You will direct, coordinate, and monitor associated requirements and resources, spanning multiple theater components, sub-unified commands, and allies and partners.
You will oversee the procurement process and administer asset and inventory management, modernizations and recapitalization -program to ensure efficient life-cycle management.
You will provide regular updates on the implementation of approved requirements and projects to the Program Manager and the General Officer/Senior Executive Service level governance body.
You will be responsible for efficient information sharing among internal staff and external customers.
You will conduct market research on emerging IT solutions and identify opportunities to apply new solutions to improve the efficiency and security of mission partner information sharing systems.
You will perform cost-benefit analysis for all proposed procurements and is instrumental in decision-making to support funding for new initiatives.
You will direct the development and implementation of policies related to this area and reviews proposed systems, networks, and software designs for potential security risks.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Performing cost-benefit analysis for all proposed procurements and being instrumental in decision-making to support funding for new initiatives ; 2) Directing the development and execution of long-range and current plans, policies for mission partner information sharing systems and supported services; 3) Administering a cross-component governance process to evaluate, approve, and prioritize requirements and, develop cost sharing mechanisms and required administrative agreements; 4) Ensuring coordination and implementation of security programs across platforms and establishing criteria for assessing system vulnerabilities and identifying the need for changes based on new security technologies or threats; 5) Identifying and implementing best practices for optimizing infrastructure and operations costs, improving system performance, and ensuring service-level requirements are met.
