You will serve as a PASS AND ID/VEHICLE REGISTRATION CLERK in the Provost Marshal Office/Marine Corps Police Department located MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.
Duties
You will review, process and issue applications for vehicle registrations; privately owned weapons registrations and bicycle registrations.
Maintain accurate account of vehicle registration decals issued and on-hand and issue and secure decals.
Prepare statistical reports, charts, and graphs pertaining to vehicle registrations and traffic violation data.
Provide advice and assistance to personnel about regulations and requirements of various registration programs
You will serve as Point of Contact for Defense Eligibility Enrollment Systems (DEERS) Identification Card (ID) Program; issue ID Cards to eligible military personnel and other authorized users.
You will process and de-register weapons and vehicles; destroy weapons registration cards and process removal of weapons from installation.
Requirements

- This is a Mission Essential position. The incumbent must ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is subject to work other than normal duty hours which include nights, weekends, overtime, and/or holidays to meet mission requirements. This position is subject to rotating shift work.
- You must successfully pass a National Agency Check and local background check.
- You must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Failure to meet conditions of employment may result in disciplinary action or termination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing clerical work related to the processing of vehicle, motorcycle, pet, bike, or weapon registrations; AND providing temporary passes for visitors entering an installation.

Education
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Successfully completed at least two full academic years of education above high school.
OR
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Possess a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
