You will serve as a RIGGER SUPERVISOR in the Transportation Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.
Duties
You will provide information to higher-level personnel on the status and progress or work, causes of delays, and overall work operations or issues.
You will plan work to be accomplished by others, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
You will resolve materials related problems to overcome production bottlenecks, repair equipment breakdowns, material shortages, and other cost delays.
You will review ordnance material or operations (e.g., receipt, issue, storage, handling, segregation, renovation, preservation, packing of items) for quality.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Evaluating deadlines, schedules, workload requirements, and equipment availability to coordinate the distribution of work; 2) Applying one or more rigging practices and/or weight handling experience to; assemble, repair, install rigging on various objects ;3) Providing recommendations for resolution on controversial matters and/or participating in negotiations for disputes ;4) Performing all administration duties i.e. resolving personnel and work conflicts.
