You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist as Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office Submarine (PEOSUBS) On-Site Representative of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA) in Groton, Connecticut.

Duties

You will serve as a representative with specific roles and responsibilities of both the Supply Support Manager and the On-Site Outfitting Management Specialist as they pertain to Submarine Program Office. Your roles and responsibilities include some or all of the following emphasis: Provisioning, Allowancing, Outfitting, Material Procurement, Receipt, and Platform Stowage Aspects. You will serve as the Supply Support Product Integration Team (PIT) lead. You will define supply support outfitting program objectives. You will develop long and short-term plans for logistics strategies and products, and facilitates fleet introduction and readiness planning. You will determine logistics requirements for supportability and sustainment. You will serve as the Supply Support Logistics Element Manager reporting directly to the Product Support Manager. You will identify, integrate, and coordinate all of the acquisition supply support logistic requirements and strategies for each new construction Columbia Class submarine. You will be responsible for the collection and catalog of OQE in support of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) certification of each platform. You will exercise independent judgment in the execution of assigning and directing work, managing budget allocations and programmatic technical decisions. You will act as a liaison and representative interfacing with local senior leadership of stakeholder organizations. You will organize resources and attending ILS Meetings and conferences.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing logistic support requirements to coordinate and recommend problem resolution for new construction or in service engineering of undersea warfare systems.
