Duties

Provides oversight and management of the marketing office and staff. Primary responsibility is to promote and market services that support strategic business initiatives. Implements promotions and marketing campaigns that support offered programs, services, facilities, and activities. Marketing events and promotions are developed and approved by higher level management. Incumbent assist with evaluations and provides feedback in business revenue meetings. Campaigns are designed to stimulate business and create awareness. Develops plans that will meet client objectives. Maintains effective communication for coordination purposes. Manages all aspects of the event/promotion including: planning, budgets, execution, and after-action reports. Determines what products and services should be offered and recommends promotional strategies. Evaluates strengths and weaknesses of programs. Determines optimum marketing mix to achieve objectives. May supervise subordinate personnel.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level. Related work experience that include events and promotion implementation management experience. Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotions using tools of the trade and social media. Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
