This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties
Responsible for system installations, upgrades, problem analysis and resolution.
Analyzing and resolving computing problems related applications, system software, external or third-party software, and operating systems.
Serving as the ERP Application Developer, providing guidance, technical oversight and implementation instruction to junior ERP Application developers.
Providing installation, configuration, integration, upgrade and testing support for new projects, and maintenance initiatives for System Applications and Products (SAP) systems and operating system environments.
Requirements

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
- This position requires Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certification, or the incumbent must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of appointment in accordance with DoDD 8140.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 50% of the time.
- Commensurate with mission requirements, the incumbent can be required to work irregular duty hours to include working nights, weekends and holidays.

To qualify for an IT Specialist position, you must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below based on the grade level required of the position being filled:

In addition to the competencies, I have one year of specialized experience which includes: 1. Evaluating system software configurations needed to support System Applications and Products (SAP) applications or customized integration of business computer systems; 2. Solving technical issues related to major SAP applications; and 3. Working with Stakeholders to translate needs into functional requirements or create functional and technical specification documents ensuring a comprehensive design.
