About the Position: This position serves as a Logistics Management Specialist for the Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC).
Duties
Identify emerging problems and validate command responses to operational taskers.
Direct, manage, and integrate the command crisis action responses.
Serve as the primary deployment coordinator for contract and civilian personnel by ensuring appropriate coordination with staff elements and key centers.
Provide advice, counsel, and instruction to accomplish the assigned function.
Serve as alternate Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) specialist in the event the primary FOIA coordinator is absent, or workload requires back-up support.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Nature of position requires unannounced duty schedule changes as well as lengthened duty days, to include possible weekend work to accommodate civilian/military executive travel departures/arrivals in accordance with mission requirements.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required approximately 10 percent of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing operational deficiencies to provide corrective action; formulating organization guidance on executing operational guidance; preparing briefings for higher level officials on the development and execution of assigned programs; and distributing workload among team members to meet suspenses while ensuring their actions are accurate and in accordance with organizational policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
