You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Weapons & Energetics Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will plan, manage, coordinate, and report on the NAWCWD support provided to the programs for design development, platform integration and air worthiness, and production of the above described systems.
You will work collaboratively with a diverse technical team and communicate effectively in person and in writing.
You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with its PMA and Air Force sponsors, several platform PMAs, contractors, as well as with the supporting competencies.
You will manage a team that will provide contract and production support bomb guidance kits for the Navy, Air Force, and FMS customers.
You will be responsible for performing the testing and platform integration required to transition the LGTR to a twin-lug variant that can be incorporated on more platforms that currently supported and future upgrades to the system.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

At the DA-05 Level:
At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Program Analyst. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Performing work related to independently budgeting and managing risk; (2) Performing work related to developing schedules independently; (3) Utilizing analytical, written and, verbal communication skills; and (4) Leading and managing a team.
At the DA-04 Level:
At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09/10) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Program Analyst. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Performing work related to budgeting and risk management; (2) Performing work related to developing schedules; and (3) Utilizing analytical, written and, verbal communication skills.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
At the DA-04 Level:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
Possession of an LL.M., if related to the position that is being filled
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
