The Air Delivered Capabilities Directorate executes Air Force responsibilities under Interagency Nuclear Weapons Integration and Life-cycle Management programs. Supported activities include Joint weapon and system requirements development, weapon system integration, and the implementation and execution of interagency processes to sustain nuclear weapon system capabilities.
Candidates should have exceptionally strong teamwork, organizational, communication, and quantitative skills. Candidate needs to be able to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence other functional and program stakeholders from the Departments of Defense and Energy, Air Force Air Staff, MAJCOM Staff, AFNWC Staff/Wings/Divisions, field level users and their respective support agencies.
DUTIES:
Plan, organize, and direct projects, processes, and procedures for Lead Project Officers, Project Officer Groups and associated Working Groups conducting weapon development, integration and system sustainment activities
Establish programmatic efforts supporting initial and sustained weapon to delivery platform integration programs
Formulate / coordinate consolidated management reports, decisions, recommendations, and analyses of weapon integration and certification activities
Analyze internal and external data to determine effectiveness of projects / processes / procedures and adequacy of implementation within the Nuclear Systems Integration Division
Support / lead exclusive projects and perform special assignments providing in-depth recommendations on resources required to execute to meet milestones and goals
HIGHLY DESIRED:
Experience with Joint Nuclear Weapon Life-cycle management principles and processes
Engineering, logistics, maintenance, or operational experience with USAF strategic and/or tactical nuclear delivery platforms
Experience with Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration weapon acquisition programs
Experience in developmental, operational, or experimental system testing
Conventional or nuclear weapon handling or loading experience.

- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and classified information with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
- Required to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
- Locations are not negotiable. The actual duty locations available may be located on the Air Force Civilian Service website.
- This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of a wide range of analytical qualitative and/or quantitative methods and techniques to participate in the assessment and improvement of acquisition plans and programs.
Knowledge of Air Force and AFMC program goals and objectives; the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones; methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions related to actual events; and the relationship of the various command entities involved in overall program planning and execution of military operation and evaluations.
Knowledge of the various Center entities involved in overall planning and execution of operations and evaluations.
Skill in designing and conducting comprehensive studies, and preparing solutions to resolve substantive problems and issues.
Ability to plan, organize, and develop studies or projects, making recommendations on substantive operating programs, where proposals may involve substantial resources and may require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures.
