This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Candidates with Bachelor's Degrees for Scientific and Engineering Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering and Research Laboratory (CERL), Office of Technical Directors.

Duties

Coordinate proposal calls, requests for information and/or program coordination. Conduit between research groups to focus program development efforts. Provide support to various staff and leadership at the organization. Support the development and strengthening of relationships across the installation community. En gage with key stakeholders at higher headquarters, and alignment of organizational capabilities and research with emerging requirements. Develop the organization’s strategy to respond to emerging executive actions and policies to address installation resilience.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
