Duties
You will provide overall support of the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) server, client, database, and web application program maintenance/management; data compilation and processing; data conversion management; system analysis and validation testing.
You will provide a wide range of technical expertise on all CNRH N61 supported systems across multiple vendor systems, applications, and technologies.
You will create high quality products to enhance situational awareness and understanding.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 45 (System Administration) level II within 6 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You must obtain and maintain Information Assurance (IA) Workforce certifications for the IAT-II level as required in DoD 8570.1-M. This includes IA and Operating System (OS) certifications and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing accounts, network rights, tests and access to systems and equipment to administer Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for the command; 2) Troubleshooting complex system and customer problems to minimize interruptions to critical business activities; 3) Ensuring information security policies, principles, and practices for Regional Dispatch Center (RDC) systems are adhered to; 4) Creating and/or integrating alarm elements within the CAD software to allow for situational awareness and shortened response times. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The position may require the employee to frequently travel away from the normal duty station to Installations within the region and to attend meetings, conferences, and travel events as well as troubleshooting or working on remote systems. The work is sedentary, although some moving, bending and lifting computer/network equipment (CPU's, servers, printers, monitors, routers, switches, UPS, etc.) in access of 50 lbs. may occasionally be required in order to inspect, install and/or test personal computers, servers and network equipment. Some work may require walking and standing in conjunction with travel and to attendance at meetings and conferences away from the work site. Some employees may carry light items, such as papers, books, or small parts, or drive a motor vehicle. The work does not require any special physical effort.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Incumbent works in an office setting, adequately lighted, heated, ventilated, etc. The majority of work is performed in reasonably well appointed office spaces. Incumbent may be required to attend schools and conferences to attain/maintain expertise and provide command positions as a CNRH representative. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions. Some employees may occasionally be exposed to uncomfortable conditions in such places as research and production facilities.
