You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS (SSP)/PLANS & PROGRAMS DIVISION (SP10)/HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE (SPHR) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.

Duties

You will lead the review and analysis of cross-cutting human capital data and general data sets. You will apply human capital theories, principles, methods, and tools to conduct studies and analyses, trending/forecasting data, and maintaining overall HR strategic planning requirements. You will provide advice to develop or improve visual and written communications across HR programs and services. You will analyze, interpret, and apply ACQDEMO policies and procedures. You will reconcile HQ and FA Admin accounts in WYPC, REMIS, and ERP financial systems. You will conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on a wide variety of variables, including recruitment, attrition, demographics, level of effort (LOE), and fiscal constraints.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying HR principles and methods to analyze human resources programs, or services to ensure budget compliance and effective operations.
