This position is located Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) Associate Chief Financial Officer for Shared Services (ACFO-SS), Financial Management Services (FMS), System Security and Compliance Division.
This position serves as a Branch Chief and senior information security technical authority for the ACFO-SS applications related to Information Technology (IT) risk management and compliance.
Duties
Provide guidance and support for the protection of information technology systems, e.g. personal computers, Local Area Networks, etc.
Independently develops implementation statements for specific application controls in Cyber Security Access Management System (CSAM) or comparable software.
Certify that all IT requirements are in compliance with guidance concerning accreditation of automated financial systems, risk management, control of computer viruses, and other similar issues.
Plans, assigns, and prioritizes work to be accomplished by subordinates, and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Requirements

Qualifications
You must possess the Basic Requirements indicated below, plus additional specialized experience and/or education to be considered eligible for this position. Your application or resume must clearly show that you possess the appropriate specialized experience requirements.
Specialized Experience GS-14:
To qualify for the GS-14: Have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 level in Federal Service or equivalent responsibility in the private sector/pay systems that equipped me with the competencies to successfully perform as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC): Such experience includes: Expert in developing, implementing, and evaluating security controls, specifications, plans, policies, technical/administrative procedures, and programs associated with Information Technology (IT) equipment software, design, and data utilizing USDA Risk Management Framework (RMF) based on current Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organization regulations NIST 800-37 Revision 2 and/or NIST 800-53 revision 4 or higher. Implementing controls to computer data files, financial system software, and application programs, including ensuring compliance with local and departmental-wide security policies. Leading and performing audit reviews, security and risk assessments, and other accreditation/continuous monitoring activities to ensure systems are fully accredited and comply with all applicable security standards AND
