Joining the Secret Service, Office of Human Resources, Security Management Division will allow you to develop, promulgate, coordinate, implement and oversee a variety of activities associated with the National and Secret Service Industrial Security Program. This Industrial Security Specialist position starts at a salary of $112,015.00 (GS 13, Step 1), with potential to $145,617 (GS-13. step 10).

Duties
Apply for this exciting opportunity to impact the agency mission by carrying out industrial security related functions for a premier workforce. The selectee will serve as an Industrial Security Specialist in the Security Management Division, Industrial Security Branch. Typical work assignments include:
Ensuring applicable stakeholders with access to classified information comply with the appropriate guidance and standards for safeguarding classified information.
Conducting on-site security assessments of contractor's physical facilities performing work on classified contracts.
Providing analysis, and presenting findings and recommendations on subjects applicable to the Industrial Security Program (ISP).
Developing reports when an industrial security nexus exists.
Qualifications
You qualify for the GS-13 level (starting salary $112,015.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 level performing the following duties:
Implementing industrial security policies and procedures for alignment with national security guidelines.
Conducting security inspections of facilities to ensure the appropriate access and protection of classified information.
Utilizing industrial security databases to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on national security initiatives.

Selective placement factors are applied in the same manner as minimum qualification requirements. Selective Factor: Possess and maintain an Industrial Security Oversight Certification/Credential (ISOC) or industry standards/equivalent (i.e. Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification).
