You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the Administrative Services Division of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
Duties
You will be responsible for processing military pay and personnel actions for personnel assigned to the command.
You will facilitate permanent change of stations (PCS) orders for military personnel transferring, process temporary active duty (TAD) orders for personnel authorized for house hunting, job hunting, and career transitions.
You will maintain records in accordance to Records Management policy and guidance.
You will liaison between members of the command and processing centers responsible for pay and personnel actions to ensure completeness and accuracy of records/documents.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience utilizing Human Resource automated systems and office automation systems to include (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access);
Experience processing pay and personnel actions, transfers, separations, retirements, travel and leave management request; and
Experience maintaining filing systems (e.g., working records, forms, databases); and answering routine inquiries regarding personnel records and files.
