About the Position: Incumbent serves as a Supply Technician under the supervision of the Training Support Officer, in the Training Support Center.

Duties

Serve as a Supply Technician under the supervision of the Training Support Officer, in the Training Support Center. Maintain register of transaction documents and makes necessary postings to the property accountability records. Inventory of non-expendable equipment, sensitive and non-sensitive, and other accountable property. Procure a wide variety of special or hard to find, or technical items. Perform a monthly review of back orders.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A valid state driver’s license is required.
  • Physical is required for this position.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450. (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports).
  • Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, IAW DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 17-Nov-2011.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcement.
