About the Position: Manages civilian personnel programs for the US Army Forces Command, National Training Center (NTC). Provides assistance to Chief, Manpower and Force Management Division (MFMD) and staff for Table of Distribution and Allowance (TDA), manpower, and force structure changes and functions.
Duties
Manage all aspects related to civilian personnel programs for FORSCOM NTC, the TDA, manpower and force structure.
Evaluate mission, organization or staffing changes to determine impact on staffing requirements and allocations to assure that all manpower
requirements are fully considered and justified.
Assist the Chief, MFMD by providing oversight of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) and support program.
Administer briefings that will assist supervisors, managers and employees in understanding their role in supporting the command's civilian
onboarding program andmission.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Must be willing and able to perform Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time, if required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing guidance and assistance in the establishment of program objectives, formulating or policy, allocation of resources and performing analysis/special studies concerning effective and economical utilization of civilian personnel programs, manpower and force structure to support operations, initiatives and effectiveness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
