This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Office of Research Services, Electronic Records Division, Processing Branch. Incumbent performs work that supports access to electronic (born-digital) archival holdings and intellectual control over records. The work encompasses a broad range of functions including processing, arranging, describing, reformatting, and preserving electronic archival records.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience: For the GS-06, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Applying regulations and policies to accomplish work assignments; AND - Performing record maintenance, processing, or preservation actions in adherence with archival principles, procedures and record keeping practices; AND - Using general office software applications to complete work assignments.
