This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Office of Research Services, Electronic Records Division, Processing Branch. Incumbent performs work that supports access to electronic (born-digital) archival holdings and intellectual control over records. The work encompasses a broad range of functions including processing, arranging, describing, reformatting, and preserving electronic archival records.
Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-07. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience: For the GS-06, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Applying regulations and policies to accomplish work assignments;
AND
- Performing record maintenance, processing, or preservation actions in adherence with archival principles, procedures and record keeping practices;
AND
- Using general office software applications to complete work assignments.
