You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER (POLICY AND PLANNING) in the Network Management Branch of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will direct the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, implementation, integration,
and management of networked systems and customer support for these services.
You will direct the resources of the branch, in accordance with FRC and Customer Strategic Goals.
You will provide and manage the resources (including the funding, personnel, qualifications, facilities, equipment, and processes) necessary to provide integrated IT support to meet work load requirements.
You will provide administrative and technical first-level supervision over Branch employees.
You will develop and administer employee Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and provide formal and informal training and/or assignments to enhance competency skills.
You will direct the development of Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objective (SOO) and Independent Government Estimates (IGEs) and related specifications.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 722 level ADVANCED within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing cybersecurity projects; 2) Managing budgets and planning for lifecycle management; 3) Developing specialized training requirements to meet national or local workload requirements; 4) Establishing budgets for IT maintenance and supporting requirements for both direct and indirect programs, including preparation of multi-year budgets, cost proposals and statements of work for indirect and direct IT projects.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
