Duties
You will serve as a subject matter expert on strategic engagements both internal and external facing.
You will analyze trends and forecast that will inform communication and outreach efforts and strategies.
You will develop key messaging and communication materials for organizational leaders addressing issues affecting service members and civilian employees.
You will identify and develop communication, outreach, and partnership projects and initiatives.
You will serve as an interface between senior staff within the command and other federal government/non-governmental organizations to plan implement, and communicate policies, programs and resources developed.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites (no more than 25% of the time). You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience developing and overseeing implementation of a strategic communication plan; and
Providing technical advice on developing and promulgating effective communication and outreach strategies in support of organization policies and programs.
