The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a functional advisor to the Squadron Director on a broad spectrum of administrative, management, operational, and community relations subject areas. In addition, incumbent will serve as a liaison to administer and direct the squadron's executive support functions.
Duties
Serve as the Organization action officer/project manager.
Supports multiple organizations in performing pre-systematic analysis of programs.
Performs administrative office support functions and maintains cooperative working relationships with co-workers, related functions, customers, and operating officials.
Administers Records Management Program.

- The duty location for this position is Tinker AFB, however, this position is eligible for maximum telework flexibilities. Telework options can be negotiated and implemented after entrance on duty

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE (GS-09): Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes resolving issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature; utilizing judgement in interpreting and adapting guidelines, policies, and regulations; researching and performing projects, studies and initiatives in support of the organization workload. Provides protocol for wing-level visits and tours and serves as manager on other administrative matters for the organization. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.

EDUCATION: Successfully completed a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or have 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a LL.B OR J.D., which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Combination of education and experience that qualifies for this position that computed percentage requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of official transcripts.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-05 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of and skill in the application of Security Assistance Programs, DOD, AF, and Squadron management principles, concepts, and methodologies, guidance, and policy.
2. Knowledge of the Records Information Management System (RIMS) and knowledge of the Electronic Records Management (ERM) requirement and the hardware/software requirement associated with each system.
3. Knowledge and skill in applying standard analytical and evaluative techniques and methods to the identification, consideration, and resolution of squadron information management issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature to devise options for resolution of a limited scope.
4. Skill in conducting interviews with supervisors and employees to obtain information about Wing policies, procedures, planning, organization, missions, function, and work procedures.
5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to gain cooperation from others through tact, courtesy, and diplomacy.
6. Ability to access or locate information through the use of a personal computer and software programs.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
