The Program Analyst performs a combination of routine, multiple, and varying assignments under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member or a team for projects/programs with a defined area of responsibility. Applies experience and detailed knowledge to plan and accomplish assignments.

Duties

Assignments may also include: collecting and analyzing data/information: conducting research: applying, policies and procedures: identifying problems: and working with higher level and lower level professionals in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-G (FG/GS 10/11) level, you must demonstrate in your application you possess at least one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.Specialized Experienceincludes experience assisting customers or internal employees with the collection and analysis of financial data for use in meeting the mission objectives of the organization. Experience working collaboratively both in-person and telephonically to support internal/external customer needs.OREducation Substitution: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.ORCombination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at, http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/sec-iv/a/gs-admin.asp for more information.In addition to the above qualifications, the following has been determined to be a Quality Ranking Factor. This means applicants who possess this factor are considered to be Well-Qualified.Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): a Well Qualified candidate will demonstrate evidence of having knowledge and experience of logistics concepts and elements, e.g., life cycle management, maintenance, repair and overhaul operations, supply chain management within their resume.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
