You will serve as the E-XX Air Systems Level 2 Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) in in the Airborne Strategic Command, Control, and Communications Program Office of (PMA-271) PEO FOR AIR ASWPEO(A).
If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $132,368 - $172,694.
Duties
You will analyze needs and synthesizes requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning.
You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy and planned progress.
You will identify and defends resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program.
You will provide management direction to all IPT members and to other personnel directly assigned or detailed to support the assigned program.
You will serve as the central contact point within the program office for all matters concerning the assigned program.
You will manage requirements/design tradeoffs and overall risk.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing needs and synthesizing requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning; 2) Leading the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy, and planned progress; 3) Directing the preparation of documents, specifications, requirements, criteria, and standards that define needs and parameters of the program; 4) Identifying and defending resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program; 5) Providing management direction to all Integrated Product Team (IPT) members and to other personnel directly assigned or detailed to support the assigned program; 6) Synthesizing critical management issues, documentation and relevant information to support program reviews.
