This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Community Recreation, Business Operations and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families.

Duties
In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.
Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
- Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
- Work schedule may be irregular. The incumbent may be required to work, nights, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Work experience dealing with the general public.
