This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Duties

In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Plans, conducts, publicizes, and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments, and related functions.

Requirements

• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
• Must be willing to accept intermittent, on-call employment.
• Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
• Work schedule will be irregular. The incumbent will be required to work, nights, weekends, holidays and/or unique events.
