About the Position: Serves as the Installation Supply Support Activity (ISSA) Branch Chief responsible for ensuring Direct and General, Installation Supply support is provided to military, government civilian, and contractor personnel.

Duties

You will administer the retail supply programs, including such functions as inventory management, warehouse and storage management, stock control requirements determination, receipt and issue of supplies, oils and lubricants, and hazardous material. You will provide contract oversight as the Contract Officer Representative (COR) or through the assigned COR. You will oversee the work of the supply branch and inspect activities for conformance with policy, regulatory, and program requirements. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work You will serve as policy advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all matters relating to the supply program.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • May be required to complete occasional business travel.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08). Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
  • This position requires the employee to use personal protective equipment provided by the employer.
