About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a senior Supply Systems Analyst performing staff studies and analysis across-the-board on projects, computer applications, and problems in the wholesale supply management areas; developing phases of current and long-range supply systems and actions that affect and require coordinated action of more than one division of the directorate. This is an Army Aviatin and Missile Command AMCOM Logistics Center Workforce position.

Duties

Develop functional system logic for supply chain business processes. Develop valid and accurate input requirements to meet the business area needs. Prepare implementing procedures for existing and new functionalities within the system. Develops and prepares training packages for functional personnel. Prepares and/or ensures preparation of Implementing procedures necessary to manage the functional operation within the Directorate.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • This position requires travel of at least 10% percent of the time.
  • This position requires the employee to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.

Specialized Experience I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes: Preparing routine analytical status reports of trends or problems as indicated by supply data; Investigating deviations with supply systems to determine and take corrective action; and Utilizing various logistics programs to provide accurate supply information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 ).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
