This position is located within the Facilities Management department of the St. Cloud Veterans Health Care System, the incumbent will be responsible for regular and recurring preventative maintenance of any and all equipment on the Health Care System campus which is electrically powered.
Duties
Major duties listed but not limited to:
Performs installation, maintenance, and repair work on all primary and secondary electrical distribution systems and equipment including: security door alarm systems; transformers; electrical switching equipment; standby generators; internal building wiring; fixtures and accessories, etc.
Makes regular scheduled preventive maintenance inspections on a recurring basis of equipment located throughout the station, including but not limited to: air supply units; kitchen equipment (auto baggers, coffee makers, electric and steam cookers, dishwashing machines, etc.
Lubricates during the preventive maintenance inspections when required; checks belts, electrical cords; cleans and makes required adjustments to keep equipment in good, safe, and efficient operating conditions utilizing existing PM procedures.
Inspects all receptacles, ground-fault receptacles, ground-fault breakers, equipment cords, cord caps, and switches throughout station on a yearly inspection
Work is to be performed safely and utilizing all required PPE.
Work Schedule: 0800am to 4:30pm, Mon-Fri
