You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the SYSTEM ENGINEERING AND INTEGRATION BRANCH of CPS PROGRAM OFFICE.
Duties
You will oversee the development of the HWIL Strategy document and running the Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) working group, to help scope and frame the test and evaluation plans, acquisition strategy.
You will serve as a recognized expert on aspects of complex and intricate weapon system design and development.
You will gather information, identify issues, provide recommendations and draft documentation to achieve overall goals for the CPS Program.
You will work with senior management to establish new fundamental concepts and criteria and stimulate the development of new policies, methodologies, and techniques.
You will implement strategic plans within and across organizational components.
You will formulate organizational strategies, tactics, and budget/action plan to acquire and allocate resources.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing engineering concepts and principles to identify and manage test and evaluation plans or acquisition strategy for the development of weapon system design.
