This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-Joint Service Provider (JP8).
Duties
Serve as Chief of the Business Resource Center tasked to coordinate, facilitate, and supervise members of the Center and provide technical/functional supervision and guidance to personnel, to include a wide range of project management and oversight.
Develop long-term plans including strategic plans, contract plans, and operating programs and budgets, in close coordination with the Procurement Services Executive, Vice Director and Division Chiefs. Provide a high degree of analysis and research.
Plan, direct, and implement policies, coordinate functional activities, and provide management direction across the full spectrum of resource management functions, including Financial Management, Contract Management, and Logistics Management.
Encourage and support the recruitment, development, and retention of a high-quality workforce. Support the development of an efficient and economical position structure which will best serve the mission.
Supervise a group of approximately 19 civilian personnel (GS-05 to GS-14) located at two operating locations (the National Capital Region and Fort Belvoir). Oversee and assume optimum utilization of Center resources.
Requirements

- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain Secret/NCS security clearance.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15 level, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: planning, directing, and implementing administrative policies; coordinating functional activities; and provides guidance across the full spectrum of resource management functions, including Financial Management, Contract Management, and Logistics Management.
