The primary purpose of this position, Community Resilience Coordinator, GS-0301-09 is to lead Peer to Peer support networks, serves as non-clinical point of consultation for resource & referral and provides outreach and marketing for available community and on base services.
Duties
- Manage the organizations' resilience and readiness programs.
- Perform evidence-based outreach to provide resources and referral information to unit personnel.
- Assist in executing established initiatives.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-07) level or equivalent (grade level, pay schedule, pay band, etc). An example of specialized experience is described as the ability to lead Peer to Peer support networks, serve as non-clinical point of consultation for resource & referral and provide outreach and marketing for available community and services.
OR EDUCATION: Applicants must have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Applicants must have equivalent combinations of successfully completed, qualifying education and experience. Education in excess of 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement and specialized experience directly related to the work of the position as outlined above that meets the requirements of the position. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of available community resources.
Skill in preparing and presenting large and small group trainings with the ability to adapt materials based on a variety of audiences.
Ability to develop and present reports for senior leadership.
Ability to interface with a wide range of personnel, including senior leadership, with tact, courtesy, diplomacy and professionalism.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with leadership, organizations, and individuals to identify, establish, modify, and provide referral assistance.
PHYSICAL EFFORT: There may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items such as boxes of samples, paper, books, small parts, audio-visual equipment, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the task.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The employee works in an adequately lighted and ventilated office environment. Exercises normal safety precautions.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
