The incumbent serves as part of the Department of Education Continuity and Disaster Preparedness Program Team.

Minimum Qualification Requirements You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-12, if you possess the specialize experience.Specialized Experience for the GS-12 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-11 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1. Experience in security programs, principles, procedures or practices in accordance with security policies. 2. Experience with Laws and Executive Orders governing the National Operations Security (OPSEC) Program.3. Experience in monitoring and evaluating Operations Security (OPSEC) programs for effectiveness and compliance with security policies and procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs). Specialized Experience for the GS-13 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-12 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1. Experience in reviewing, analyzing, or resolving security issues in accordance with National Operational Security (OPSEC) program policies.  2. Experience with Laws and Executive Orders governing the National Operations Security (OPSEC) Program in accordance with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).  3. Experience in identifying deficiencies, underlying problems, or developing recommendations for improvements.   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).
