As a Human Resources Specialist at the GS-0201-13, you will be part of Office of Personnel Management, Human Resources Solutions, HR Strategy and Eval Solutions, HR Strategy, Strategic Consulting, Workforce Planning. If selected, you will be responsible for providing solutions to help organizations identify the size and composition of a workforce needed to be agile, resilient, and able to respond to current and future mission requirements.
Duties
Serves as a project lead or manager on a variety of reimbursable HR projects in support of the organization's solution areas.
Reviews and evaluates an agency's workforce or succession planning program, policies, and processes.
Develops and delivers briefings, findings summaries, and recommendations reports.
Identifies data collection methods and potential staff resources required.
Consults with customers and produces deliverables to support successful implementation and change management.
Serves on blended project teams as a technical subject matter expert and/or project resource.
Qualifications
For the GS 13: You must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience in human resources at the Federal GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service (obtained either in private or public sectors) that includes performing ALL of the following:
Managing projects (for example, coordinating resources, timelines, deliverables); AND
Developing project plans and/or proposals to address internal or external customer needs; AND
Providing customers with technical expertise on workforce and/or succession planning; AND
Compiling and/or analyzing data to support workforce and/or succession planning strategies; AND
Writing reports to communicate findings and recommendations for workforce and/or succession planning.
Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level.
