About the Position: Manage and administer the Security and Law Enforcement (S&LE) Program. Formulate District policies and provides program direction by issuing regulations, standards, and technical guidance. For the Honolulu District, manages surveys, incident investigation, and reporting. Is the primary point of contact for the Commander and advises the Commander and staff on S&LE matters.
Duties
Manage a comprehensive program for emergency actions during and after natural disasters and national crises.
Administer the personnel security program to include requests and follow-up for full field or background investigations.
Ensure pertinent security measures are in place.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Designated Key Position - Position is designated as a "Key Position" in accordance with AR 690-11.
- Incumbent must possess or be able to obtain and retain a SECRET security clearance.
- Temporary duty travel (TDY) is required up to 15% of the time.
- This position has been identified for the Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification Program. This is the Department of Defense (DoD) Security Certification Program directed by DoD Instruction 3305.13
