About the Position:
The position is located in the US Army, Integrated Logistics Support Center. The ILSC provides full service logistics support to the U.S. Army's most important weapon system, the Soldier. The Center manages and oversees a comprehensive, integrated program for major and secondary Department of Defense items and insures supportability and operational readiness of Combat Maneuver and Recovery items.
Duties
Assign work to employees and tracks completion progress.
Formulate organizational plans for functional responsibility by determining requirements, staffing, and budgeting.
Plan and assign work to be accomplished by subordinates, establishing priorities, and preparing schedules for completion.
Analyze information to make decisions and achieve functional unit objectives.
Communicate results and issues to leadership.
Oversee employees in at least one of the following functions: supply planning, demand planning, sourcing, procurement, order management, distribution management, or supplier performance.
Periodically review position structure of supervised workgroup to ensure optimum balance between economy, efficiency, and skill utilization.
Requirements
- One Year Probationary period may be required.
- One Year Supervisory probationary period may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Position requires Level III Advanced certification in Acquisition Career Field Lifecycle Logistics - (L) or must be able to obtain certification within 48 months of appointment.

Must have one year of Specialized Experience:In order to qualify based on experience your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-02 (or GS-11 equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes:1) Applying inventory management and supply planning operations knowledge to balance supply and meet forecasted demands by generating secondary item supply actions thru an automated system such as Workflow (WF) in Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) utilizing Material Requirements Planning (MRP); 2) Managing secondary item excess thru an automated system such as LMP/Workflow with the Long Supply Review Tool (LSRT); 3) Developing long-range material support plans; AND 4) Managing items to achieve effective supply support while remaining within authorized budget.
The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or (GS-11 equivalent).
