Duties
You will conduct periodic inspection of inventory to ensure documentation, physical location and condition of assets are as described in RMF artifacts.
You will assist employees with technical requirements that can be addressed with an IT solution.
You will design, develop, and manage compute and storage systems that meet current and future customer requirement.
You will manage assigned IT projects staying in line with customer and management timeframes providing regular updates to customers or management.
You will develop plans to mitigate the risk of issues that arise when implementing change to existing or new technology areas.
You will work as cloud-based systems administrator.
You will utilize Siemens software.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: 1) Planning and assisting with complex assignments and developing new methods and approaches; 2) Proving technical guidance to customers related to IT issues, new directions, policies and procedures; 3) Recognizing issues that may arise with implementing changes to existing technology; 4) Performing daily checks of systems to mitigate any vulnerabilities; 5) Performing cloud-based systems administrator duties; and 6) Utilizing Siemens software suite.
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: 1) Planning and carrying out difficult and complex assignments and developing new methods, approaches and procedures; 2) Providing advice and guidance on a wide range and variety of complex IT issues; 3) Conducting analysis and recommending resolution of complex issues affecting IT service and customer support; 4) Planning for the installation and implementation of new systems, such as, new operating systems or applications; 5) Performing daily checks of systems to mitigate any vulnerabilities; 6) Performing cloud-based systems administrator duties; and 6) Utilizing Siemens software suite.

Education
GS-11: In lieu of the specialized experience above, you may qualify with the following education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
