You will serve as a supervisory contract specialist of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.
Duties
You will oversee the work of all subordinates and assesses performance.
You will establish goals and objectives for subordinate personnel aligned with the mission and vision of the command and Contracting Community Plan.
You will execute unlimited contracting authority.
You will serves as chairperson of the Contract Review Board and determine the uniformity of the technical program policy and procedures compliance.
You will provide overall planning management and administration of the contracts and contract administration, contract policy and administrative support groups.

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates knowledge in providing overall planning management and administration of the contracts and contract administration, contract policy and administrative support groups regarding program directives, contractual activities, and procurement policy interpretation. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Provide a mastery of acquisition laws, principles, and regulations to generate new procurement concepts; 2) Plan, manage, or review procurement for the latest in technology and multiple year service contracts for the operation and maintenance of Government installations, equipment, and components; 3) Plan, manage, or make decisions or recommendations significantly affecting the content, interpretation, or development of complex and long-range interrelated policies or programs concerning acquisition management matters; and 4) Review and approve, or redirect the procurement and business strategy, plans, and techniques for the procurement of systems and programs requiring the approval of higher level management.

Education
Applicants must meet the following Basic Education Requirement of the Department of Defense Qualification Standard for Contracting Positions:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.
NOTE: The education requirement listed above applies only to individuals entering DoD GS-1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000. Current civilian personnel in DoD who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000 are exempt from meeting this requirement. Current military members who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GS (or equivalent) 1102 or before September 30, 2000 are also exempt from meeting this requirement. Applicants currently in the Contingency Contracting Force are also exempt from meeting this requirement.
