This position is located in the FAA Logistics Center (FAALC), Business Systems Group, Resource Management Team. This team is responsible for representing the FAALC and for providing input to organizations on matters that support and are vital to the success of organizational projects and/or activities.

Duties

As a Management and Program Analyst, the incumbent performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of the manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team and may perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs or other work activities Collects and analyzes data/information; develops performance metrics; conducts research; applies policies and procedures; identifies problems and works with higher-level and lower level professionals in day-to-day operations. Identifies, analyzes, and recommends solutions for complex/difficult problems; and recommending improvements to systems and processes. This work is critical to the success of the overall administrative, employee recognition and performance management programs.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-H (FG/GS 12) level, you must demonstrate in your application you possess at least one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to FV-G (FG/GS-10/11) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes collecting and analyzing pertinent data and recognizing solutions; conducting/participating in studies; planning and organizing work, preparing and presenting information; skill in developing and implementing program goals and objectives; prepares reports, identifies discrepancies and resolves issues, etc.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history. Qualifications must be met by closing date of the announcement.
