About the Position: Serve as a special advisor to the Construction Manager in implementing and maintaining Primavera P6 system, and other subsequent scheduling systems, for the VA, MilCon, and Civil Works Construction project(s) functions necessary for assessing and implementing the full and efficient application of the Primavera P6 system.

Duties
You will utilize the Primavera P6 system, for assigned Construction Project(s) within the District/South Pacific Division Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Ensure that all construction projects use the correct Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to define products, subproducts, activities, or tasks for the project.
Interface the Primavera P6 system with Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), Resident Manager System (RMS), and other Corps of Engineers automated information systems.
Estimate and report on expected time of completion of work and maintains records of work accomplishments and time expended and prepare production reports.
Directly support the Resident Engineer.
Perform Critical Path analysis of the construction contractor’s project schedule.
Prepare reports and briefing charts for Planning, Integration, and Outfitting (PIO) Management and higher level management.
Expertly understand, execute and integrate other scheduling tools and software programs
Resolve construction delay claims by analyzing and mitigating.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience scheduling construction services in the Primavera P6 Professional automation system AND analyzing construction schedules and verifying accuracy in regard to logic, duration, and budgeted total cost. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
