THIS IS AN ARIZONA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA). This position is part of the AZ JFHQ ARMY, Arizona National Guard under Position Description Number PDT5420000

Duties

This position is located at the JFHQ-ARMY-G1 Equal Employment Office in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the assistant to the Equal Opportunity Manager in planning and implementation of a Statewide equal employment opportunity program.

Requirements

• Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
• Participation in the Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer Program.
• May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
• Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
• Incumbent must possess and maintain a current state driver’s license.
• Incumbent must possess or be able to obtain secret security clearance within one year of appointment.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1 year specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Specialized experience is experience, education or training involving the administering, delivering, maintaining, advising, and adapting basic concepts, principles, and theories of Equal Employment Opportunity to the unique organizational, management, and mission requirements.
